Where it all began...

My love of dogs started when we got our family Labrador, Barney. He made it to the ripe old age of 15 and he was so loved by all the family. When Barney passed, I started to dog sit in my spare time, for friends and colleagues and I loved being around our furry friends. Whilst living in London I discovered the Rover app, where I was able to look after dogs and get paid! I moved out of London, quitting my corporate job, and started looking after and walking more and more dogs. I have looked after lots of different breeds from a dachshund to an Irish Water Spaniel, both in my own home and in the owners homes. The rest is history as they say and Pup Struts began …

Frequently asked questions

Where will my dog be walked?

I do a mixture of locations depending on the dogs needs. These can be on your door step, or a short distance away. I like to give my dogs variety and different places to explore if that suits us all.

What does a daycare day include?

I like to see day care as more of an experience day for my dogs. A day with me will likely include 2 walks (depending on the dogs needs), enrichment activities, play, any food, treats and/or medication requirements, and of course cuddles! I only do 1:1 day care (or multiple dogs from the same household), so your dog will have my full attention. This creates a lovely bond between the two of us and also allows me to take your dog to different locations for walks, if this suits. Likewise, if your dog just likes to chill out, perhaps if in their senior years, I will keep them company and make sure they get lots of love and attention.

Can you pick up and drop off my dog to me?

Yes, absolutely! For walks, pick up and drop off is included in the cost.

Will you take my dog for a walk, or any other service with out meeting us first?

No, I wont take on a new dog without a 'meet and greet' which I offer free of charge. This can take place at your home, or on your regular walk for example. This is in the best interest of both parties and to see if we are a good fit for each other.

Ive never had a dog sitter before, how does it work?

A dog sitter allows you to have peace of mind whilst you're away. Your precious pooch can stay in their own home and environment and do not need to go anywhere new! I will stay in your home and look after your dog like my own. The idea can sound daunting to some, but I'm there to make your life easier and for your dog to have a lovely time whilst you're away! I respect your privacy and bring with me my own food, towels and bedding.
